REBECCA HEWETT - FARMER
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Rebecca Hewett is an Executive Producer most recently having worked for 6 years in the commissioning team at Paramount. In her time at the company she has set up their in house production and been responsible for commissioning and overseeing a huge slate of both scripted and non-scripted content. She has been committed to telling stories that help use comedy to have the difficult conversations, promote better representation on and off screen and nurture new talent.
Having completed her Masters at RADA, she has since worked on many of the UK's biggest programmes including ‘Eastenders', 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Take Me Out', ‘Miranda', 'Up The Women', 'The Kennedys', 'Citizen Khan', 'Upstart Crow' and 'Still Open All Hours'.
Rebecca has produced an abundance of work with some of the UK’s most exciting digital talent, including two seasons of sitcom - 'Jack and Dean Of All Trades' (starring Jessica Hynes), a Sky Arts musical for The Midnight Beast, as well as being casting director and acting coach on a dark psychological thriller series - ‘PrankMe' starring Disney star Corey Fogelmanis. Rebecca has also produced many short films and music videos for Hazel Hayes, Dodie Clark, Bertie Gilbert, Will Darbyshire, Sammy Paul, Khyan Mansley and PJ Liguori.
Rebecca has also cast numerous adverts for Colour TV Productions, and BBC3 Comedy series 'Miss Holland', a live stage show for The Midnight Beast at the Pleasance King Dome at the Edinburgh Festival and a full length feature - ‘Together', starring Peter Bowles and Sylvia Syms was released in 2018. In her time at Paramount, Rebecca has pioneered original production, commissioning new scripted series with Ryan Sampson, Jordan Gray and Nigel Ng, as well as overseeing comedy formats such a Comedians Solve World Problems and Drunk History Black Stories, an adaptation of the US format that championed all black stories. Rebecca's first scripted commission Transaction with Jordan Gray won a Broadcast Digital Award for best new scripted shortform, and Drunk History Black Stories won a Broadcast Digital Award for Best Shortform Format. Rebecca was a Broadcast Hot Shot in 2022.
